
SALLY WEN MAO was born in Wuhan, China and grew up in Boston and the Bay Area. She is an MFA candidate at Cornell University, where she teaches a class about weird stories featuring Asians and a creative writing course. Speaking of weird Asians, she is a proud Kundiman fellow. Her work is published or forthcoming in Gulf Coast, Indiana Review, Passages North, Puerto del Sol, and West Branch, among others.
