
AMANDA AUCHTER
is the founding editor of Pebble Lake Review and the author of The Glass Crib, winner of the 2010 Zone 3 Press First Book Award judged by Rigoberto González. Her second manuscript, The City That Care Forgot, was a finalist for the 2012 New Issues Press Green Rose Prize. She is the recipient of the Mary C. Mohr Poetry Award, the Magliocco Poetry Prize, and the Theodore Morrison Poetry Scholarship from the Bread Loaf Writers Conference, among others. Her work has appeared in AGNI, American Poetry Review, Bellevue Literary Review, BOMB Magazine, Crab Orchard Review, The Greensboro Review, The Journal, Poetry Daily, and others. She holds an MFA from Bennington College and teaches creative writing and literature at Lone Star College.
